Save the date: North Sea Days 1-2 October 2026

Save the Date – North Sea Days 2026
Sea and delta in balance: a resilient North Sea
1–2 October 2026 – Deltapark Neeltje Jans, Zeeland

Please mark your calendar for Thursday 1 and Friday 2 October 2026, when we will once again come together for the North Sea Days, this time at the unique location of Deltapark Neeltje Jans in Zeeland. Over two days, we will focus on the latest insights, challenges and developments related to the North Sea, with ecology as an important pillar.

The North Sea Days 2026 are organised by Wageningen Marine Research, in collaboration with Deltares, NIOZ, Rijkswaterstaat and TNO. For the 2026 edition, we are working together with the Delta Climate Center – the Zeeland-based knowledge centre for climate and sustainability challenges. This collaboration strengthens the connection between North Sea research, climate adaptation and practical solutions for the delta of the future.

As always, the North Sea Days bring together researchers, policymakers and stakeholders to share knowledge, discuss dilemmas and work collectively towards a resilient and valuable North Sea.

More information on the theme, programme and registration will follow later in 2026.

For now: save the date – 1–2 October 2026!

Kind regards,
Organisation North Sea Days 2026
