MOSWOZ Newsflash - October 2026

Dear reader,
In this edition we inform you about the new assessment framework for shipping safety and the North Sea Network Analysis 2025.
The new assessment framework focuses on marine spatial planning in the Dutch part of the North Sea. What does a new offshore wind farm or, for example, a change in the volume of traffic on a shipping route mean for shipping safety? With the new framework, MOSWOZ can assess spatial planning choices in advance, in a consistent and well-founded way.
In addition, the North Sea Network Analysis 2025 by research institute MARIN has been published. The news item summarises the key findings and links to the full report.
